Mountain biking

Kamloops offers year-round mountain biking across the city with such parks as Kamloops Bike Ranch, Pineview Valley.  It is also home of the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame.

Golf

It has one of the highest number of golf courses on a per capita basis in Canada. Golfing is available year round with the mild almost snow free local climate.
