Mount Benson

At over 3000 feet set the backdrop of the city’s skyline and rival the north shore mountain in Vancouver. It has hundreds of kilometers of trails and with snow on the mountain 6 months of the year. 

The Nanaimo Art Gallery

This is a public art museum,exhibiting contemporary exhibitions by local, national and international artists.  The Gallery also holds a collection of artwork also of local artists and artisans, and runs Artists in the Schools.

Just an hour and a half south is the most populated community as well as the Capital of BC, Victoria. It offers many tourist attractions, the Caste, Butchart Gardens as well as a tour of the legislature.
