The Soul?
Throughout my University education, I was drilled with the fact that energy can not be created nor destroyed. It is this fact that solidified my belief in the existence of the soul, and it also enforced my faith in God.
Biology teaches that life starts at the moment of conception, and so do most religious faiths. For animals, when sperm meets egg- life begins.
I believe that is also at that moment that the soul is “born”. I have had two miscarriages, and while two of my children are not on this Earth– I believe that they are in heaven.
They have souls, and their souls were in my body, but as their bodies died, their souls moved on.
Everywhere
Around the world – Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Regina, Winnipeg, Ottawa, Toronto, Hamilton, Halifax or Montreal, St John’s or even aboard Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Bali, Thailand, New Zealand, London, Tokyo, Rio de Janeiro Greece, Rome, Berlin, Paris, Buenos Aires, Dallas, Miami, New York, Chicago, San Diego, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle and Tel Aviv the soul is energy, it is life force, it is from God.
When we die, our souls can not be destroyed- they are energy… they can not be destroyed. Energy can move from one form to the next…so moving a soul from a body into Heaven seems to be a logical explanation to me.
Force
I learned in my yoga teacher training, if a soul is energy, it is life force and it is from God. It is something pure, magical and beautiful. I think that it is something that can blossom and grow when we are happy and satisfied.
But on the flipside, when we are consumed with negativity, the soul can become dark. This is why it is so important to do good on this planet, treat others and ourselves with respect, basically be a good person… it all feeds our soul and helps it reach it’s true potential of being beautiful positive energy.
Souls moving from one level of being to the next, and even the act of being reincarnated is a beautiful and comforting thought. I do not want to live my life and then fully disappear.
Hope
I hope that there is something beyond this life- I have faith that there is! My soul will continue on when my body is no longer alive.
There has to be a place for a soul after a person dies… whether it is in heaven, or if the souls are reincarnated. I feel like souls are “recycled” sometimes- in the form of reincarnation.
I swear my son was a cowboy or a knight in a past life- he has loved horses since he was a baby!!!
Condition
I believe that everything we do/do not do effects the condition of our soul. When you do good things for yourself and other- you feed your soul.
When your hurt yourself or others- you are starving or harming your soul. When a person is happy with themselves and their life choices- they are at peace, and their soul is at peace.
The best way I can summarize it is- your soul is the pure beautiful energy, that is your lifeforce and it is a gift from God.
