I think that enlightenment is not something that you can fully understand or describe to anyone unless you have experienced it first hand almost like a prophecy. Its not just something you get from practicing yoga or taking a yoga teacher training.

It would be like trying to describe the taste of a dessert you have never tried before even though you have heard about it and know all of the ingredients that go into making it.

Regardless of where you live in Canada – Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Regina, Winnipeg, Ottawa, Toronto, Hamilton, Halifax or Montreal,  St John’s, enlightenment is a transformation of mind and soul to pure bliss without being in meditation, your consciousness has been raised and you become more aware of god, becoming one with the divine and a transcendance occurs.

Once you have reached enlightenment your mind and perspective is expanded with an understanding and acceptance for who your true authentic self really is comes to light.

You can feel the importance of who you are in this world and the pure love and compassion you have to offer, letting go of everything else that does not serve you, that holds you back.

I believe reaching enlightenment is being able to obtain complete control of your state of mind and emotions through the practice, commitment, and discipline of a mental yoga practice and lifestyle.

In The End

Understanding not the choices you make or the things that you do, but why you do them that is of most importance.

Enlightenment is the complete liberation of negativity, grief, frustration, hate, fear, envy and loneliness, it is true enjoyment of life and an understanding of why it is truly worth living.

Enlightenment is being “loyal to your wonderfulness every moment of your life” like a flower, in good times and bad.
